We have been lucky enough to see a good variety of birds on our we piece of land. unfortunately my photography skills aren’t up to getting pictures of most of them. A list of birds that we have seen:

Quail

Plovers (including baby plovers)

Pukeko

Miscellaneous sparrows, starlings, blackbirds and waxeyes

Magpies (not popular)

Ducks, both brown ducks and paradise.

Last week I saw ducklings for the first time, very cute.

A lamb shows a bit of interest in some ducklings passing trough the paddock
