Here are some pictures of baby Noah’s first Christmas. We all had a lovely time with family, eating, drinking, opening gifts and being lazy (as all good Christmases should be spent). Santa must have thought Noah was a VERY good boy this year, as he was very spoilt.

Just a note to let you know that our beloved chickens (“The ‘Loos) have gone to chicken heaven. They were very unwell with prolapsed insides coming out their bottoms, and had been off the lay for a while. Thankfully our neighbour came over to do the deed, as we were very sad and didn’t want to do it ourselves. We are not sure what causes this illness but will investigate it. In a few months we’ll get some more chickens and start again.

I had been notified of a swarm of bees in a nearby paddock last week and just happened to know people who were looking for one. I had never had anything to do with one before so was keen to see it captured. It all went well, I cut the broom that it was attached to you while the chap caught the swarm in a large box. No stings for anyone!
