A catch up with what has been happening around the cottage. The short story is Toby has been happening! He is doing very well and keeping us entertained. Obviously a lot more work to be done on the training front but he’s getting there and showing a lot of potential. He has a bit of a fascination with poo, a nice pit of dried sheep poo appears to be a nice snack and a roll in a fresh horse poo seems to be quite enjoyable. He is doing very well keeping dirty and has appeared out from behind the car with some interesting black marks on him. Gave him a good wash yesterday which he seemed to enjoy. We have been going for lots of walks and he is pretty good following us around outside when we are working out there. Not as much work being done inside as we feel a bit bad leaving him out there. Puppy pre school starts this week.

We have some horses back into our paddocks which is good timing as the grass was getting a bit out of control.

The vege garden is still well behind where it should be. Cabbages, lettuces and corn all from seed is all up and doing well. Snow peas are ready to eat. Have sown beetroot, rocket, mizuna mix, capsicum, zucchini and florence fennel seeds. Not sure how it will all go with the puppy.

The baby making is all going well, about 3 months to go. Plenty of movement going on. Antenatal classes start next week. My wife is looking beautiful!

Sheep are doing ok. They did have some worms, so they have been drenched and moved to a new paddock. Hopefully that will sort them out. The lambs have also been vaccinated and all have had their feet trimmed.

Beehive is going well and I am hoping to move it onto the property in a week.

I have started my fencing course, one more theory evening to go, and we have had our first practical day. The next practical will be on our place so will get a couple of fences sorted out, look out for the before and after pictures!
